Become a "patched member" of a little sewing circle collective

I ran a workshop for up-cycling track pant cut-offs. We created beanies and fingerless gloves for those who were homeless in Auckland City. Those who partcipated "earned their patch".

What I want to do with this idea is to create some sort of denim jacket which represents the collective.
