Botany Swarm
The Botany Swarm is a team based in Auckland. This team was founded in 2005 and was previously called the South Auckland Swarm. The head coach is Andreas Kaiser and the captain is Andrew Hay. The Botany Swarm are the 2007,2008 and 2010 NZIHL champions.
Canterbury Red Devils
The Canterbury Red Devils is a team based in Christchurch which was founded in 2005. The head coach for this team is Anatoli Khorozov and the captain is Chris Eaden. The Canterbury Red Devils are the 2009, 2012, 2013 and 2014 NZIHL champions.
Dunedin Thunder
The Dunedin Thunder is a team based in Dunedin, which was founded in 2008. The head coach is Matt Hladun and the captain is Gints Leitis. This team has not one any NZIHL championships.
Skycity Stampede
The Skycity Stampede also known as the Southern Stampede is based in Queenstown and was founded in 2005. The head coach is Steven Reid and the captain is Simon Glass. The Skycity Stampede has won five NZIHL championships.
West Auckland Admirals
The West Auckland Admirals is based in Auckland, and was founded in 2005. The head coach is Csaba Kercso Magos Snr. and the captain is Justin Daigle. The West Auckland Admirals have not won any NZIHL championships.
