Sultan Qaboos Mosque
Built in 2001, the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is the main Mosque (Muslim place of worship) in the Sultanate of Oman.
This building is iconic as it features the World's second largest hand-woven carpet and chandelier.
Nakhal Fort
The history of the Nakhal fort had dated back to the first settlements of Oman. Nakhal fort exists above the old village of Nakhl.
Over the years many renovations and restorations has been made to the site. The fort contains a Museum operated by the Minstry of Toursim. Additionally, the fort hosts a weekly goat market.
Royal Opera House
The Royal Opera House Muscat is Oman's arts complex. The building features Islamic architecture with Italianate influences. Construction finished and opened for the public in 2011.
The Frankincense Coast
The Frankincense Coast, located in Southern Dhofar, is a region of flowing waterfalls and luscious greenery.

The Al Alam Palace is the official palace of Sultan Qaboos. Over the history of Oman, the Palace has been the ceremonial place for many and most of the Sultans'. Al Alam means "The Flag"
